Hi … I’m Kate, leading authority on the teachings of Florence Scovel Shinn.

I know what it’s like to feel trapped, helpless and a victim.  For YEARS I perfected creating trauma and drama in my life through stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, angry, resentful thoughts, beliefs and passionate emotions – I made it an art form!

I became exceptionally – remarkably – efficient at manifesting awful, painful experiences – over and over again – can you relate?  And if there was a narcissist nearby, I was immediately attracted to them like a magnet.

… and don’t get me started on how I took people pleasing to an outrageous level.

Truly unbelievable events and experiences happened to me.  Bizarre things that were so far out there, I wouldn’t have believed them if it didn’t happen to me.

I was so cute … thinking life “happened” to me.  I kept telling myself that I had no control over the experiences that were my life.  Imagine my horrified surprise when I discovered I manifested the horribles by broadcasting out worried, anxious energy laced with despair and desperation that was fed by stress and overwhelm on a daily basis!

At the lowest point in my life, when my daughter and I were hiding out from my meth-addicted ex … I met a woman who went to her bookcase and asked her angels, what could she give me that would help me?

The Game of Life and How to Play It

fell off the shelf and hit the floor.

When my new friend gave me the The Game of Life, I admit … I wondered, just how the heck was a book going to help me? After all … I was living in fear of my daughter being kidnapped and/or both of us being killed.

But … the angels knew what they were doing … when I opened the book and began reading … I felt a rush of emotion that I’d never really felt before … and that emotion was Empowerment.

It was through this empowered feeling that my journey of discovering, understanding and implementing my own power began.  Within days I began to change and improve my life from the inside out.

Did my life become rainbows and unicorns sprinkled with fairy dust?

No … it did not.

I would implement Florence’s teachings.  Then I would allow life stresses to take over and get in the way, leading me to fall back into old habits of thinking, believing and behaving… then in short order, life would go to hell in a hand basket.

… then I’d remember … how powerfully The Game of Life supported me.  I’d pull out the book and dive into the empowerment within the pages and again … life would take on an exciting, magical quality.

I admit … it took me YEARS — again with the years — to fine tune the simple action-steps and support tools to grasp something better than rainbows, unicorns and fairy dust — I achieved empowered wholeness, peace and one-ness — I achieved “poise”— it took me years …

… but I did it.

I’ve learned what to do to achieve that state of “poise” that Florence teaches and I understand what to do to sustain it.

If I can do this from the mess that was my life … I know you can do it, too!
